Family planning in India regarding contraceptive use, the unmet needs for limiting and place child births and possible solutions hereof.
Rationale for Selecting TopicThe importance of family planning in India today can not be stressed teeming as there are belt up several decisive issues to be dealt with such as a pronounced and still rising son preference/daughter aversion, high child and maternal mortality as well as a high total fertility rate in almost of Indias states. According to The National Family Health Survey-3 (NFHS-3), the issues of maternal and child wellness as well as getting the replacement rate down to 2.1, would be somewhat solved if the unmet needs for limiting and spacing child births were indeed met.
In range to sterilise the sustainability of future generations these issues need to be addressed and useful solutions draw to be found and implemented.
